CAP Export Refunds

ThymeCAP provides all the functional requirements for companies involved in CAP Export Refunds.

It is available as a web-based application, hosted by Thyme-IT, for users who do not have an existing application in place to record the necessary information and an API for users who have an existing application to record all related information.

ThymeCAP-DTI

This web-based application allows for entry of all necessary information, via a number of simple web pages. Data is validated at time of entry to ensure that only valid messages are transmitted. When all data has been validated and accepted by the application the appropriate EDIFACT message is created and transmitted to ROS via Thyme-IT's web services application ThymeWS.

The following message types are catered for:

  • Notice of Intent (NoI)
  • SAD COM
  • SAD COM Transfer
  • SAD EX under control
  • SAD EX

To minimize entry of data and save you considerable time when entering CAP information, ThymeCAP-DTI provides the facility to record data relating to your company and other common data related to all messages. This information is used when generating messages.

Data Search Screens, List Boxes and Text Search facilities are provided within ThymeCAP-DTI, providing access to code based information. This minimises the need for paper documentation or knowledge of codes and tables. This ensures that time required to enter transactions and validate data is kept to a minimum.

ThymeCAP-API

This API is available to users who already have applications in place to record the required information. The API accepts and provides data in predefined formats. All files are created and stored in predefined inbox and outbox folders on your server.

Due to the fact that there is already an in-house application, Thyme-IT provide two product options, one that assumes that the data is pre-validated by the client's front-end application, ThymeCAP-API-L, and one that will validate the data for you, ThymeCAP-API-F. Both product options will create the appropriate EDIFACT message for data received from your application. A file is created to confirm transmission of the message or to highlight errors identified within the message if the validation option is selected.

All inbound responses from ROS are retrieved, parsed and written to file in the inbox folder in the agreed format. Thyme-IT's web services application, ThymeWS, is integrated within ThymeCAP to manage and control transmission of messages to and receipt of messages from ROS.

System Requirements:

If using ThymeCAP-DTI you will need Internet access via Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser (version 5.0 or later).

If using ThymeCAP-API you will need a digital certificate from ROS and a server with access to the Internet.
